Managing Director, Equity Capital Markets
Mr. Terwilliger joined Duncan-Williams, Inc. in early 2009 to serve as Executive Managing Director of Healthcare Research in the newly-developed Equity Capital Markets division. He is responsible for building an equity research platform based on the healthcare industry. Previously, Mr. Terwilliger served as President of Neurorecovery, Inc., a drug development company focused on neurological conditions. Prior to that, Mr. Terwilliger was a Medical Device and Technology analyst with Morgan Keegan & Company, where his research was recognized by the Wall Street Journal, Best of The Street Analyst Survey as a Master Stock Picker and by StarMine for his earnings estimate accuracy. Mr. Terwilliger also worked in healthcare equity research at Sanders Morris Harris Group and at Needham & Company, LLC. Prior to his career in equity research, the Yale graduate worked in the healthcare industry at Johnson & Johnson, Inc. and at Ernst &Young’s healthcare division.
Managing Director & Senior Research Analyst
Mr. Smith was previously a Senior Research Analyst at Merrill Lynch following companies within the Computer Services sector. While at Merrill Lynch, key companies under his coverage included Visa, MasterCard, Western Union, Global Payments, Fiserv, ADP, Accenture, and Intuit among others. In 2008, he was ranked number four in the Computer Services & IT Consulting category by Institutional Investor Magazine. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2002, Mr. Smith was a Senior Research Analyst at JP Morgan covering the eFinance sector. Before that, he was with Hambrecht & Quist by Chase, Putnam Lovell and Franklin Resources. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Senior Vice President, Institutional Equity Research
Ms. Rivkind specializes in small-to-mid cap specialty pharmaceutical companies. She has spent over three years as an Equity Associate Analyst covering the pharmaceutical and generics sector at UBS. Prior to that, she has ten years of pharmaceutical industry experience, which includes management rols in both research and maketing at Forest Laboratories as well as a progression of clinical trial management positions in contract research organizations, including Quintiles. Ms. Rivkind graduated from Cornell University, with a B.A. in Biological Sciences, and also holds and M.S. in Epidemiology from the University of Maryland and and MBA from the NYU School of Business.
