J.P. McGowan & Company, Inc. Joins DWI Team
MEMPHIS, Tenn., Monday, November 16th, 2009 -- In keeping with its strategic plan to expand its financial services footprint across the nation, Memphis, Tenn.-based Duncan-Williams, Inc., (DWI) announced today “we are pleased and excited to be opening a new office in Philadelphia,” DWI President Duncan F. Williams says.
DWI’s Philadelphia office is being staffed by former members of the financial services firm J.P. McGowan & Company, Inc. Incorporated in 1982, J.P. McGowan & Company brings its vast experience as a municipal specialist to DWI’s continued expansion plans in the mid-Atlantic. John McGowan, former founder and president of the firm says, “We are excited to be joining the Duncan-Williams team at this moment in both firms’ history. The move cements both firms’ strategic goals to grow and better serve the Philadelphia market through the additional capital and infrastructure DWI brings to the table.”
