Don B. Clanton

Mr. Clanton has over 35 years of experience in the securities industry. After his graduation from Mississippi State University in 1964, he began a career in sales where he achieved the position of top sales producer in less than four years. Within ten years, Don had moved on to open and manage profitable branch offices, as well as supervising sales management teams. From 1981 to 1984, he established Union Planters Investment Bankers Group as one of the leading brokerage and institutional banking firms in the Southeast. After Union Planters, Don was President of Commerce Investment Corporation, a subsidiary of National Bank of Commerce. Mr. Clanton served as President of the Memphis Investment Bankers Association and as a member on the FINRA’s Business Conduct Board. He is a member of the Securities Industry Association and the Public Securities Association.
